From
Tank De Arment
(from Jean Staser, 10 June) Rock
is in the VA Medical Center, Long Term Care, in Dublin, GA. Rock had been
suffering from a long siege of spinal stenosis and had fallen and broken
two ribs in a VA facility near their home in Florida. In January '09 Rock
had been diagnosed with lung cancer which is being treated with radiation
therapy.
Apparently
Rock's rib condition couldn't be cared for by this VA Center so in April
Jean had Rock admitted to the Dublin VA Medical Center, which is in Jean's
hometown. Jean has located temporarily at 738 Lucian Drive, Dublin GA
31021, Tel: 478-463-2131.
Rock
is in a weakened condition and can only be moved by wheelchair, but he
is able to feed himself.
Jean recommends that any mail to Rock be sent to her Dublin address.

The pictures are of Hunter at the "Beat Navy Tunnel", shooting
at the Combat Simulator, and behind the Thayer. He has assured me that
he wants to be at West Point. His dream is to attend and be an Airborne
Ranger. Hunter always has wanted to attend a military academy he was torn
between the Air Force Academy and West Point. After seeing them both he
wants West Point. So tell the Class of 1944 to cross their fingers for
him. Hopefully he will start at West Point in June of 2013.
His full name is Justin Hunter Kobayashi McGlothlin, the grandson of Brig.
Gen. William C. McGlothlin and Akemi McGlothlin. His parents are Will
and Amy McGlothlin of Lincoln
